Why an open CJ7 needs protection behind the front seats.
Anyone who drives a Jeep CJ7 with a bikini top or fully open knows the problem: behind the front seats the airstream swirls, pulls cold and rain into the cabin and blows dust across the cargo area. This is exactly where the windjammer and duster deck come in. The windjammer mounts vertically to the roll bar as a wind deflector and shields the occupants from behind. The duster deck stretches horizontally over the cargo area and keeps out moisture, dirt and prying eyes. Both parts are constantly exposed to sun, rain and flapping in the airstream. Over the years the material turns brittle, the window clouds over, straps stretch and mounting rails work loose from the body. At that point the cover no longer protects anything – it just flaps in the wind.

- Windjammer on the roll bar: The wind deflector with a clear window and pass-through opening attaches to the roll bar with buckles and straps. Z-channel rails, screws and caps are included, and extra holes need to be drilled for the rails. Available in Black Denim, Black Crush and Spice Denim.
- Duster deck for soft tops with Supertop frame: This cover is fitted with the top frame folded back and comes with the body bow support for the frame, in Black Denim and Black Crush.
- Duster deck for hardtop vehicles without a frame: Made for switching over from a hardtop, this version comes with a side rail system and tailgate rail including screws, also in Black Denim and Black Crush.
